For the In Real Life exhibition at the National Archives of Australia, the full suite of marketing collateral was developed using the exhibition branding created by an external designer. The existing logo and visual identity were adapted and expanded across a wide range of print and digital materials, ensuring the branding translated cohesively beyond the physical exhibition space. Print collateral included posters, flyers, launch invitations, and advertisements for Canberra Weekly, Canberra Times, City News, This Week in Canberra, and Holiday Happenings. Digital outputs ranged from social media tiles and web banners to AV promotional videos and animated assets.
This project offered the opportunity to explore the flexibility of the exhibition branding and apply it across multiple formats and audiences.
It also strengthened skills in motion design, with new After Effects techniques used to create engaging animations that supported the exhibition’s promotional campaign.
